Was here for breakfast since a lot if people come here and there is always a wait. But foods didn't come out expected. I'll skip this one next time and go to a cafe.

Having been here a few times, I still find the food to be not too special..unless you come here the breakfast. As for lunch, it is a typical Chinese restaurant that serves traditional food for a little higher lunch special price when compared to other places around this area. I do have to commend that the waitress was attentive and being able to understand the customer needs since I told her that our table was too small to fit 6 ppl, so she added a smaller table when they had one.For the food, dishes are on the smaller portion. No soup was given which is a disappointment and you get one bowl of rice per dish you order. For the food, it tends to be on the saltier side, so make sure you drink plenty of ice water and eat a lot of rice…well one bowl.

I drive all the way from LAX to get breakfast here most weekends. Great bargin, great portions, great atmosphere.Pork liver and kidney juk is one of my favorites along with bitter melon rice noodle😊

This place is great for noodle/rice dish, family style meals or Chinese barbecue. You can also create your own noodle combo by choosing your noodle type, soup base and ingredients. I like their fish & tomato broth. Pick up some Char Siu (BBQ pork), ribs or roasted suckling pig on your way out!

Relatively new. Decent service for the breakfast hours. Plenty of dishes to choose for the morning combo. Try the steam rice roll with shrimp. Magnitude better then next door despite same owner. Milk tea could be even stronger but not to bad as is. Occasional problem when people smoke right outside and share with the whole restaurant.

I've been to Happy harbor when i was on vacation. they served yummy food and good service. But when I left LA, it was sad to leave Happy Harbor also.

Definitely a place worth stopping over, the food is awesome and fresh, the prices are convenient and it is consistently well kept in here. 5 stars.

Great service. Bit pricey. Ordered B1 which to me tastes like a donut without the sugar. I put some condessed milk on it and the flavor was like a glazed donut. The main dish we ordered was the two item crystal noodles in pork base with bbq pork and chicken. The flavor reminds me of pho but with vermicelli noodles. Overall good and the servers were nice and respectful. I always see this place busy but came after the dim sum hours. I would come back again just to try the other dishes.

Breakfast 8am-11am deal! $6.99, $7.39, or $7.39 deals include a drink (milk tea, lemon tea, etc) and can add item meals for only $1.89! Good deal if you like a hot drink too. Food and drinks are okay. Great place for Chinese brunch catch up , slow eat and drink spot. They have dim sum items, just isn't a dim sum place.

If you want authentic Cantonese cuisine, like straight from Guangzhou, Happy Harbor is for you. Awesome service and great dishes. The bbq and roast pork is a favorite and amazing. There is a large and varied menu: Soups to chow fun, and everything in between. Vegetables are excellent, including local items like choy sum. This is a regular spot for me for several years. Open seven days til 11pm

Good Authentic Chinese Food, reasonable price. Congee, wonton noodle soups, roast pork, roast duck and stir fried dishes are all delicious.

Well priced, tasty Chinese food! We were brought to this place by Alhambra locals, and I have no complaints about the food or service. The fried tofu was delicious and soft, the fish and fried pork were well seasoned and cooked, and the texture of the rice porridge (congee) was surprisingly pleasant though the dish itself was very simple - just green onions and some pieces of meat. I'd definitely come back here next time I'm in the area and craving authentic Chinese food. 6 adults + 2 kids were well fed and the bill was only ~$100.

Best bbq pork, roasted pork, roasted duck, chicken ever - specials after 3pm for $7.99 for 2 items bbq with rice and .99 for iced tea or coffee. Plenty of parking. Service is quite fast. Kid friendly.

This resturant is good for those looking for an old school feel to the standard fare of chinese food. We came and had the breakfast items kike rice porridge, congee, and rolled rice noodles with pork meat. It was delicious and reasonablely priced.

I like the easy ordering but it's a little tight space wise

Haven't been to this place for couple of years, it really gone down hill. After travel for weeks and desperately need some good chinese food, oh boy we made the worse mistake. We order 2 wonton noodle soups, it was at best 3 out of 5. Half a roast duck, 2 out of 5. Stir fry clams 2 out 5. Service at this joint is 1 out of 5, not once they asked us about our meal. Left a 10 percent tip, and if they ask more, then they will get it.

Love their two item breakfast. Love going there for dinner too. By the way, this is not a dim sum restaurant. There's another restaurant right next door, called Top Island Seafood restaurant, that serves dimsum for breakfast and lunch.

Clean, not so noisy, wonton noodles were good, wontons were big, NO msg. Our chicken&bbq pork dishes(2 orders) was only$8 happy hour prices. Food came rather quickly. Also did I mention for the$8 special, choice of lemonade or coffee.

This restaurant is a good find for quick lunch and dinner. food is more opt toward to Cantonese style from seafood dishes to porridge and noodles. Seating orientation is comfortable and good ambience.

Lines are fast. The food is cheap and pretty good compared to other chinese restruants in the area.

Happy Harbour is a nice little dim sum restaurant. The parking is a bit hard on the weekends since they're a lot of people coming here and other restaurants. They have cool fish tanks here and the food is decent. I've also heard that they have a good late night menu.

Great experience, authentic Chinese food. Will definitely return. On thing I wish, is that I brought an empty stomach.

The food is good with large portions. Refillable lemon ice tea. The staff is very nice and attentive. The place was packed but they immediately refill the iced tea with minimal to no wait time

This place is actually good for breakfast and tea time because their Congee, noodles, and Rice Roll is very good in my mind. Also, their BBQ items such as Roast Duck, Roast Pork, and Chicken is one of the best in the local areas because they have better quality and bigger portion compared to Sam Woo or other places. However, I often come here to have lunch or dinner because their menu don't fit with my styles, and the price is a bit higher in my mind. For services part, it is very good, and fast.Overall, it is 4.5 stars because their BBQ items are excellent. I recommend people come here for breakfast and tea time because it is not expensive, and their food is delicious as well.
